Hi! I’m Marjorie J. Maginnis.
For over 20 years, I have been using my hands-on experience to help innovative, values-based companies assess their legal risk while understanding their business reality in order to elevate the gains and the enjoyment of business ownership.

MY BACKGROUND
I earned a BA in Communications in 1989 from George Washington University and a JD with Honors in 1996 from St. Thomas University School of Law.
After graduating, I worked as in-house counsel for an international elevator company for four years, managing all employment-related legal matters. In 2000, I joined an employment litigation firm representing employers, and in 2004, I started my private practice. Since then, I have acted as outsourced in-house counsel for corporate clients of various types and sizes, including six clients who I’ve served for over ten years.
While all of my work is in the corporate arena, about half of my work focuses on employment law. Other areas of concentration include contract drafting, complex business transactions, commercial land acquisitions, corporate governance, litigation management, and regulatory audits.
